Pour la troisième fois consécutive, la manufacture horlogère Frédérique Constant participera à l’exceptionnelle vente aux enchères « Only Watch 2009 » à Monaco, le 24 septembre prochain. Sous le haut patronage de S.A.S. le Prince Albert II, cette œuvre de charité est réalisée au profit de la recherche contre la maladie Duchenne.
Une trilogie unique . . . Pour l’occasion, Frédérique Constant crée la Heart Beat Trilogy. Réunies pour la première fois, les trois montres féminines les plus prestigieuses de la manufacture suisse seront mises aux enchères. Présentées dans un précieux coffret avec plusieurs bracelets de rechange, ces garde-temps, imaginés par des femmes pour des femmes, dévoilent leurs mouvements grâce à un cœur ouvert et brillent de mille éclats avec leur pavage de diamants.

Au bénéfice d’une grande cause caritative . . . Réunissant les marques horlogères les plus prestigieuses, cette exposition internationale, présentée à Shanghai, Genève, Londres, New York et Milan, finira son périple à Monaco le 24 septembre prochain, sous le haut patronage de S.A.S le Prince Albert II de Monaco. Chaque modèle sera mis aux enchères et l’intégralité des recettes sera reversée à la recherche contre la maladie de Duchenne, une maladie génétique rare (dystrophie musculaire) touchant encore un trop grand nombre d’enfants à travers le monde. En 2005 et 2007, cette vente aux enchères a rapporté plus d’1,9 et de 2,7 millions d’euros.

The 2009 Frédérique Constant’s contributing lot will be as unique and engaged as this Charity Auction: The Heart Beat Trilogy, for the first time assembled in a common jewel box:
The first timepiece of the Only Watch 09 trilogy is the Heart Beat Manufacture Automatic Pavée, a feminine & jeweler version of the famous Heart Beat caliber: automatic movement fully designed and constructed in-house, with the specific aperture on the dial featuring the escapement of the automatic movement. This historical patented development makes the success of the Manufacture that Frédérique Constant can boast to be today.
For this occasion, the newly released Heart Beat Manufacture Pavée, the most luxurious and sparkling ladies timepiece within our Heart Beat collection presents a stainless steel case with a diameter of 41mm and a mother of pearl dial set with not less than 287 pieces of VS Full cut, Top Wesselton diamonds amounting 2,7 cts. The dial with its Arabic numerals let the Heart Beat aperture at 6 o’clock to look up to the escapement of the movement.
The second timepiece of the Only Watch 09 trilogy is the Double Heart Beat Chocolate Pavée, which joins the International advertising campaign’s program of Frédérique Constant dedicated to the International Children’s Heart Foundation. In 2007, Frédérique Constant’s new advertising campaign for its ladies Double Heart Beat Watch Collection helped to cure children with heart malfunctions. For each watch sold, Frédérique Constant donated the cost of a life-saving heart scan to the International Children’s Heart Foundation, a medical charity dedicated to providing free pediatric cardiac surgery to needy children throughout the World.
This new watch is a luxurious and ultra feminine edition of the iconic Double Heart Beat. With its rounded rose gold case of 34mm diameter, this new chocolate version is set with 1.17 carats of diamonds on the case and on the dial center. The Double Heart Beat aperture at 12 o’clock on the dial let admire the heart’s beating of the automatic movement.
The last timepiece of the Only Watch 09 trilogy is the Love Heart Beat, the latest passionately feminine creation of Frédérique Constant, launched in spring 2009, and especially created in solid rose gold for the Only Watch 09.
Recently, Ms. ShuQi, famous Taiwanese native movie star, became the new Brand Ambassador for the Greater China. And the new advertising campaign developed with her is in line with the global Frederique Constant Charity Campaign. For each Love Heart Beat watch sold in China, Frédérique Constant will make a donation to “Paint a Smile” Foundation. Paint a Smile’s mission is to reduce patient anxiety and make hospitals more cheerful and friendly by permanently turning cold and impersonal environments into colorful and welcoming worlds. With these funds, Paint a Smile will decorate children wards with beautiful paintings in Beijing Children’s Hospital in August 2009.
