Après avoir enthousiasmée les passionnés de l’horlogerie au cours de l’année 2008 en dévoilant la Dream Watche One, pièce unique en quête de la parfaite harmonie horlogère, la marque DE BETHUNE nous offre en 2009 la possibilité d’acquérir enfin ce garde-temps exceptionnel. C’est un véritable défi technologique. Le spectacle est tout aussi passionnant cette année sur le cadran qu’au dos de la montre. On aperçoit d’abord à travers le cadran un balancier annulaire en silicium qui cache le spiral et fait effet de miroir, unique dans le monde horloger. Ensuite, au dos, on découvre un système de réglage individualisé. Avant-première, ce garde-temps permet, en effet, à chaque propriétaire de régler personnellement sa montre en fonction de son mode de vie. Modification fondamentale dans l’art horloger.
Chaque garde-temps a pour but d’être le plus précis mais les aléas de la vie, la manière dont est portée la montre, les activités qui accompagnent chaque jour la vie d’une montre entraînent automatiquement de légères imprécisions.
Toujours en quête d’améliorer la précision des garde-temps, Denis Flageollet et David Zanetta ont imaginé alors une montre qui permet à chaque propriétaire de régler aisément sa montre pour obtenir une précision exceptionnelle. Par simple pression sur un des deux poussoirs disponibles au dos de la montre, le propriétaire de ce garde-temps peut le régler en fonction du rythme de sa vie.
Simple geste mais quand on y regarde d’un peu plus près, c’est une véritable prouesse technologique.
D’une simple pression extérieure, on rentre au coeur de la montre grâce à un système de bras et de leviers démultipliés de façon à amener le geste à la perfection. Pour une utilisation optimale, la limite du réglage est indiquée en rouge grâce à un guichet au dos.
Relation particulière avec son objet, qui permet de mieux le connaître, mieux l’apprivoiser, mieux le personnaliser. Des semaines seront certainement nécessaires avant de pouvoir réaliser le réglage chronométrique parfait mais dès ce moment, il y aura une symbiose totale entre soi et sa montre.
Tout dans cette pièce paraît simple mais elle est en fait d’une grande complexité. Le simple oscillateur, du calibre mécanique DB2016 entièrement conçu au sein de la Manufacture, est une véritable prouesse dans le monde horloger. L’organe réglant se présente sans spiral visible assemblé avec un balancier annulaire composé d’un disque central en silicium entouré d’un mince anneau en platine poli que l’on devine à travers le cadran.

Jeu de finition, le cadran rhodié et en acier présente des aspects mates, brillants ou polis pour donner continuellement un effet de lumière et d’ombre. La boîte en platine dispose d’attaches mobiles afin d’épouser parfaitement les formes du poignet. La réserve de marche est de 6 jours .

This year the display is just as exciting on the dial as it is on the back of the watch. Seen first of all through the dial is an annular balance in silicon which conceals the balance spring and has the effect of a mirror,
unique in the world of horology. For the first time ever, this timepiece allows every owner to adjust their watch personally according to their way of life: a fundamental step forward in the art of watchmaking.
Every timepiece has the greatest accuracy as its objective, but the vagaries of life, the way in which the
watch is worn and the activities which are part of the daily life of a watch inevitably result in slight inaccuracies.
Always seeking to improve the accuracy of their timepieces, Denis Flageollet and David Zanetta have therefore created a watch which enables every owner easily to adjust it to achieve an exceptional degree of accuracy. By simply pressing on one of the two push-pieces on the back of the watch, the owner of this timepiece can adjust its rate according to the rhythm of their life.
A simple action, but when one looks a little closer, it is a remarkable technological feat. By applying a
simple external pressure, the heart of the watch is reached through a system of reduction arms and levers in a way that conveys the gesture perfectly. For ease of use, the extent of the adjustment is indicated in red through a window in the back of the watch.
This represents a particular relationship with an object, which enables it to be understood better, to be controlled better and to be made more personal. A few weeks will certainly be needed before perfect adjustment of the watch is achieved, but from then on there will be a complete symbiosis between the owner and the watch.
Everything in this watch appears to be simple but it is in fact extremely complex. The simple oscillator of the mechanical calibre DB2016, wholly designed within the Manufacture, is a genuine achievement in the world of watchmaking. The balance spring of the regulating organ is not visible; it is concealed within an annular balance consisting of a central silicon disc surrounded by a thin ring of polished platinum which can be seen through the dial.
In a play of various finishes, the rhodium-plated and steel dial has matt, burnished and polished aspects, giving a continuous effect of light and shade. The platinum case has pivoted lugs so that it follows the shape of the wrist perfectly. The power reserve is 6 days.
The result of a search for exclusive perfection and the use of state of the art technology, of the passion of two men combining experience and technical know-how, this new timepiece perfectly expresses the horology of the future.
