Le premier, une pièce 24h “second fuseau horaire”, se décline agrémentée d’une lunette en céramique noire ou grise. Le boîtier en acier, d’une élégante robustesse, abrite un mouvement mécanique à remontage automatique. Sous la glace saphir apparaît un cadran noir ou gris dont le “12” – symbole du design des collections sport de Longines – est mis en évidence. L’aiguille 24h, d’un rouge vif, attire l’œil et contraste avec les cadrans aux reflets lunaires. Les modèles de la gamme sont disponibles sur un bracelet acier orné de maillons centraux en céramique (noire ou grise) qui rappellent harmonieusement la lunette.
La céramique pare de la même manière la version Chronographe de la ligne. La lunette en céramique est cette fois équipée d’un tachymètre. Le boîtier, à l’instar de tous les modèles de la gamme, se reconnaît à son fond vissé. Autre gage de sûreté: la protection latérale de la couronne et des poussoirs. Il est doté d’un mouvement mécanique à remontage automatique. Le guichet du calendrier à 6h, les compteurs des 30 minutes à 3h et des secondes à 9h, ainsi que l’emblématique “grand 12” ornent le cadran noir ou gris. Tout comme sur le modèle Longines Admiral 24h, la céramique habille élégamment les maillons du bracelet.
Ceux qui préfèrent une esthétique purement sportive et qui recherchent un garde-temps alliant précision et robustesse choisiront le modèle Longines Admiral Chronographe 24h “second fuseau horaire”, l’alliance des deux fonctions ne pouvant qu’inspirer les connaisseurs! La pièce est équipée d’un mouvement à remontage automatique calibre L686, utilisé pour la première fois par la maison horlogère imérienne. Le chronographe indique les 30 minutes à 12 heures et les 12 heures à 6 heures. Un “grand 12”, huit index en applique ainsi que l’indication des 24h – en chiffres arabes – ornent un cadran proposé en noir, gris météore ou argenté. Cette ligne est disponible sur un bracelet acier ou sur un alligator noir ou marron, avec boucle déployante triple sécurité, souci de performance oblige!

Three new creations have been added to the Longines Admiral collection. Firstly, a model with a 24-hour graduation scale and a second time-zone, which has a ceramic bezel in black or grey. The robust and yet elegant steel case houses a self-winding mechanical movement, while the sapphire glass protects a black or grey dial with a predominant “12” – the design symbol of Longines’ sport collections. The bright red 24-hour hand immediately attracts the eye and contrasts with the moon-like reflections from the dials. Models in this range are available on a steel bracelet with central links in black or grey ceramic to match the bezel.

Ceramic is used in a similar way to embellish the Chronograph model in this line. In this case, however, the ceramic bezel features a tachymeter. As in all the models in the range, the case has a screw-in back cover. Another safety feature is the lateral protection for the crown and the push-pieces. The chronograph model is fitted with a self-winding mechanical movement. The black or grey dial includes a date aperture at 6 o’clock, 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock and small seconds at 9 o’clock as well as the characteristic “large 12”. As in the case of the Longines Admiral 24h, the central links of the bracelet are in ceramic.

Those who prefer a simplistic sports design and are looking for a timepiece that is at the same time accurate and robust will choose the Longines Admiral Chronograph 24h with a second time-zone, the combination of these two functions being a special treat for connoisseurs! Longines has used the self-winding calibre L686 for the first time in this model. The chronograph functions include a 30-minute counter at 12 o’clock and a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock. The black, anthracite or silvered dial features a “large 12”, eight applied hour markers and 24-hour graduations in Arabic numerals. The models in this range are available on a steel bracelet or a black or brown alligator strap, naturally with a triple folding safety clasp.
